Unit 1 Nothing is more enjoyable than playing tennis语音课教学设计

英语语音教学在英语教学中占有举足轻重的位置,撰写教学设计和试讲也是近年来教招考试中出现频率较高的考查形式,能够测出考生的语言功底和表达能力。故设计好一堂语音课是考生在面试中取得的第一步。本文以外研版八年级上册Unit 1 Nothing is more enjoyable than playing tennis语音课为例进行教学设计,该教学设计以学生的现实生活为出发点和归宿点,旨在发挥学生的实际语言运用能力。

Teaching aims:

Knowledge aims:

Students can know the special phenomenon-liaison in speaking, and can master the rule of liaison.

Ability aims:

Students can use the special rule of liaison to make their spoken English more fluent.

Emotional aims:

Students will increase their interest in learning English.

Students will have confidence to speak in public.

Teaching key points and difficult points:

Key points:

Students can discriminate liaison in listening and master the rule of liaison.

Difficult points:

Students can apply this knowledge into their speaking.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in

Greet students and let students watch a video about sports.

(Justification: Video is a good way to attract students’ attention, at the same time today’s topic is introduced.)

Step 2 Presentation

1.After student watch the video, list three sentences of the video:

(1).Spain score a minute ago.

(2).Last week the match on TV was so boring because no one score at all.

(3).Oh, look at that.

2.Ask some students to read these sentences and play the radio of the same content, then let student make a comparison.

3. Ask student to have a discussion and conclude the rule of this phenomenon in speaking.

(Justification: Students can acquire new knowledge in an inductive way and their initiative will be aroused at the same time.)

Step 3 practice

1. Invite students to read these sentences again to feel liaison.

2.Ask students to find the liaison and read it out.

(1)I’m so fed up with him.

(2)I’ve already made up my mind.

(3)That is so gross.

(Justification: Students will understand the liaison better.)

Step 4 Production

(1) Play the video frozen, and ask student to find the liaison.

(2) Let students have a competition,who sings the song better can get teacher’s gifts.

(Justification: Students can apply the new knowledge into their speaking meanwhile song competition makes a nice atmosphere to learn English.)

Step 5 Summary and homework

Summary: Invite one student to summarize what we have learned today.

Homework: Ask students to write more sentences related to liaison.
